My path as a photographer
Hi, I'm Dishan Marikar, a Melbourne-based photographer who has an unhealthy obsession with cars and photography. Combining the two was always a given, but I do shoot other things too.
I initially picked up a camera to take reference pieces for artwork (I still draw and occasionally paint - you can find some examples here), but instead I discovered the ability to create art within the camera itself. My work has been published and commissioned by local and international clients and publications since 1997, and I am well respected by peers and clients alike.
I'm available for commercial and editorial work of new or pre-owned vehicles, architectural briefs and corporate portraits. I can also cover corporate and club events, as well as private commissions.
